With our 11 air conditioned rooms all with king beds, private bathrooms, cozy lounge areas, and our 10 acres of surrounding forest, we have everything you’ll need for your next adventure in the great Green Mountain state.
Built from the imagination of its original owners in 1972, Grunberg’s creaky walls, angulating stairs, and eclectic Austrian architectural accents are nestled into the green mountains. We can be found on a private road off of scenic RT100 - mid-way between Stowe, Sugarbush, Montpellier, Burlington, and Lake Champlain, so you’ll never be too far away from the action! And neither will your furry friends, because dogs are always welcome at the Grunberg Haus.

We welcome fun-loving human travelers 16years & older and well-mannered dogs. You MUST be able to handle steps, stairs, and everything in between if you book a stay at the Grunberg Haus.
